With my PDA's Pocket Work, Pocket Excel and Pocket Notes, I can read these
types of documents made with MS Office. But if I edit them with the Pocket
PC, they are saved in the Pocket Word or Pocket Excel versions, and I can not
read them using MS Office Word, Excel or Notepad. I've been searching for
Filters from Microsoft and from HP, which will allow me to view the Pocket
versions with MS Office, or save them as MS Office documents with the Pocket
versions. Do these exist? If yes, where?

Drag them from your pocket pc while connected to your hard drive. They will
be converted.

True, Word 2007 will not and fails to open a Pocket Word (*.psw) file. I have
not tried Pocket Excel and Excel 2007.

The work-around I found for Word: in the mobile device, open and re-save the
Pocket Word document as a "Word 97/2000 Document (*.doc)." Word 2007 then has
no problem recognizing and opening this format.

There are two problems with this work-around: (a) having to open all your
Pocket Word (*.psw) files and re-saving them one-by-one to the new format
and, (b) the memory required for the *.doc files in your mobile device
increases.

Hope this helps!
