Are there Windows Alt-like keys for Mac Word X?

System: OS 10.2.6, Word X.

Back in Word 5, I think, you were able to turn on a feature that enabled you
to use keystrokes similar to the Alt keys in Windows, such as Alt+F for
file, Alt+E for edit, and so on. When it was enabled, the Alt key for any
menu item was underlined, as it would be in Word for Windows. (I'm not
confusing this with the customizable keyboard commands under Tools >
Customize > Commands > Keyboard.)

Is that feature gone from Word X?

Hi Tim,

As far as I know, the feature you've described does not exist in Word X (or
Word 2001 for that matter). However, if what you want to know is what all
the keyboard shortcuts in Word are, I can tell you how to find them.

In Word, go to Tools -> Macro -> Macros. In the dialog box that opens, look
for where it says ³Macros in:" Select the ³Word Commands² option from the
popup and then scroll down and select the command called ³ListCommands.²
Finally, click Run.

Hope this helps.
