Hi MVP,
My work area is VBA in MS-Word, hence I would like to know the areas that
might impact my applications when we go for an upgrade from MS-Office 2003 to
MS-Office 2007.
I wanted to enquire about the reprecursions of doing such an upgrade and
what all things should I ensure before and after the upgrade is done (purely
in terms of VBA).
To be more specific:
1) Do I need to write some extra lines of code to make sure my existing
applications run smoothly?
2) Also would there be any technical issues when we run the templates (coded
in new 2007 version) on clients machine having 2003 version installed?
In other words, I was apprehensive because our client has MS-Office 2003
installed whereas we would be developing the MS-Word templates in 2007
version - so would there any technical or usage related issues after we are
done with the upgrade.
3) And whether or not we have to do some adjustments on clients machine to
be able to run the templates successfully?
