Arial Font Problem

Word is my preferred program and I like the arial font. However, the
apostrophe never shows in my documents. I tried reinstalling the font
and that didn't help.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

What shows up where the apostrophe should be? Do other fonts have this
problem? Are you using any keyboard remapping programs?

There is only a space where the apostrophe should be. The other fonts
do not have this problem. I don't think I'm using any keyboard
remapping programs but am not entirely sure of what they are.
