Arial from Mac presentation defaults on PC

I have created a presentation in Arial (truetype) and it defaults on my clients PC - it tries to replace it with another font - rendering the text twice as large and obliterating it. I have embedded the fonts (via a PC) and replaced all the fonts with Arial. Any suggestions? Is my client's version of Arial corrupt or perhaps missing?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, the Arial font on the PC is different from the Arial
font on the Mac...but it should be trying to substitute the font with
Arial. Do you know what font the PC is trying to use instead?

FYI, PowerPoint for Mac doesn't support embedded fonts.

Thanks,
Nancy

Thanks, Nancy.

I was able to get on a PC running the same OS and version of PowerPoint.

The problem only occurred on pages where I had made the text in the Slide Master text box significantly smaller. It would default back to its original large size whenever it would be edited. I would size it back down again, but whenever the document was reopened, the same problem would occur.

I fixed the problem by duplicating the text box and deleting the original. By doing this, I was erasing the "auto" Slide Master text box and replacing it with a normal text box. Problem solved.
