Using MS Word 2002: I am preparing an alphabetized columnar table of names
in a ‘telephone book’ kind of format: - i.e., 2 colums per page – in
column 1, the surnames in alphabetic order, followed on next line after each
surname by alphabetized given names associated with that surname, indented a
bit. Column 2, the same. Sometime there are only a few given names per
surname , sometime more. And so, when I get to the bottom of the page,
with two columns finished, the colums might each be a slightly different
length from top of page to bottom of page.
I have found that I can make the colums be about the same length by manually
adjusting the font size of one column; and that works pretty well, but not
perfectly.- and it’s a nuisance to do.
QUESTION: is there a ‘click here’ way to equalize the lengths of the
columns ?
Would sure appreciate any help - thanks - Jay.
