The instructions in the MS web site regarding 'Arrange contacts in last name,
first name order' are very good. To make them comprehensive it is worth
reminding that to ‘activate’ the change Outlook needs to be closed and
re-opened. This is probably true as a general statement for all if not many
of changes to Outlook’s options.
