Array Formula problem

After entering an Array Formula, and pressing
Ctrl+Shift+Enter the formula does NOT become an Array, no
brackets at the ends.
here's my formula...
=SUM((A2:A500=1)*(G2:G500=1)*G2:G500)

Select the cell, press F2, press ctrl + shift & enter..
Works 100% for me.

BTW, either

(G2:G500=1)

or

G2:G500

is superfluous.
