Article Number to remove Office

B

Bill

I have been searching for a document that outlines the
steps to manually remove Office when all else fails.

What I've been told is that the title is "Manula RIP of
Office" but I have been unlucky in my searches.

Has anyone run across the article number so that I can
pull it down? I found the UNINSTALLER CLEANUP Utility
(Searching for 290301) but that did not completely remove
the old versions of office.

Thanks!

Hi Bill,

The Cleanup utility only removes registry information
so that Office can be reinstalled.

Installing a new version of Office and choosing custom
install allows you to specify what old products to remove
if Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel doesn't
work followed by deleting the Office Program File folders.

You didn't mention the Office version you're trying to
remove so these may or may not help:

Removing Office 97:

Removing Office 2000:
