as a result of office 2003 update service pack 1 cannot open or install office

Hi,

my computer automatically updated ofcice 2003 with
service pack 1 in the process it says the installation
was incomplete. when I try to open any of my files I get
the following error message:
"The application failed to initiate properly (0xc0150002)
click on OK to terminate program".

I can't uninstall progrmme or re-install, repair.
Nothing. Can anybody help me?

I too have been waiting for a satisfactory answer to this problem. Their
canned solution is to install sp1 or sp1a then re-boot computer. That
doesn't solve the problem or the error code. I would appreciate an answer.
