Any error messages or helpful symptoms?

If something doesn't make sense, it could be worse e.g.

No no error. Just a nothing white page. This of course is in IE 5.5 so that might explain it.

Probably looks like this but haven't done it yet. Have to install publisher so that might do it again:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE><./TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
</BODY>
</HTML>

I did stop it to see if I could get the page. No it was a res:// not a http://

You may have a corrupted scanning control. Try clearing out your cache from
IE > Tools > Options > General > Settings > View Objects.

Hi George,

Odd things seem to happen with a number of MS pages with
IE5.5 at times. What happens if you go directly to
http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/mainCatalog.aspx?CTT=98 ?

In the status bar in the lower left corner of the browser
window do you get a yellow triangle at all?

Are you using a firewall or 'internet privacy' software?
If so, do you get the same problem if you bypass it temporarily
and if you use the 'refresh' button in your browser?

Yeah that link worked correctly. I just get the Critical update. I think it is something with IE 5.5. For when I go to the Knowledge base I am finding that there is an object that is not firing and the page loses much of it's java script and xml which makes their navigation menus. I have to hit rfresh and the page displays correctly. I have to do this each and every time. Here I'll do it and tell you what happens. First I have to turn on Script debugging...well there you go it worked this one time in the last week I been doing this. Will try again later, gotta go eat some Turkey. Hey have a happy Thanksgiving if you are in USA.
