Asking for Office 2000 Disc?

Chris

Hello helpful people. I have fully installed Access 2002
from and Office XP disc, but every once in a while when I
try to do something (like embed an object), a box opens
that says the object I'm looking for is on Office 2000
Disc 2. First, isn't this XP -- why is it looking for
something on an Office 2000 disc? Second, I found my copy
of Office 2000, but it only had one disc. For the hell of
it, I shoved that one disc in, but of course it couldn't
find what it was looking for. Any ideas?

Chris,

Office 2000 disc two contains Publisher. If you didn't
get a version of XP that included Publisher (or if you
didn't upgrade it), it will still look for a disc that
does have a copy of it (even if it is completely
unrelated to the component you are trying to install).
Look and see if you have a copy of Publisher 2000 laying
around and try that.
