asking for product key number after it's already been installed

The current junk mail filter will not install. I get the following error
mesage:
"Error 25090 Office setup encountered a problem with the Office Source
Engine, system error 2147023938. Please open C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office11\1033\SETUP.CHM and look for "Office Source Engine" for
information on how to resolve the problem." When I go to SETUP.CHM I get this
message:

" Product Key
Type the 25-character Product Key number. It is located on your Certificate
of Authenticity or the sticker on the back of the CD case.

Note If you are converting a trial version of Office, you must use the
Product Key from a full version of Office. Your full version Product Key can
be found either on the package you purchased at a store or in the
confirmation email you received after making your purchase of Office online.

The key has already been installed and the product is activated. I get the
same error message if I use the detect and repair function.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
