Am using Expression Web with FrontPage extensions with a website created in
FrontPage. Because the form is using FP extensions, a person on the
Expression Web group advised I post my question here.
I created a new html form in Expression Web that works fine to send user
inputted data to an email. However, I want the information to go to a
database so
I followed the instructions in my Expressions Web book and saved the form as
an ASP file, went through the steps to create and link it
to a database and published it. Everything seemed to function fine. But
when I try to pull up the asp file on our website to test it, all I get is
an HTTP 500
Internal Server Error. What should I be telling our IT people to look for or
what might be causing this? I could never get this feature to work with
FrontPage either. All I want to do is have the info the form collects end up
in a database. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
