Are there any plans to provide ASP.NET server side controls for the Office
Web Components?

Hello Alvyn,

Just curious...Are you sure that there is going to be version 12 of OWC next
year. Will it just be carried over as from Version10 to Version11 in
Office'03, or Is there any significant development going on in Microsoft.

Currently, there is no technology out there to substitute for the OWC. Even
VSTO doesn't come close for web developments. Microsoft is working on
version 12, what it entails? I don't know at this point. It's a wait and see
approach.
