I am a newbie at ASP and IIS, but I have used FP2000 in the past with
PWS in Win 98 and never built ASP pages. This is my first experience
working with FP with IIS instead of PWS.
I am making a website with a page with a form where the results are
sent to a database. I have Win XP Pro with IIS 5.1. I created a new
web on the server and built the website. FP asked me to name the page
containing the form with an ASP extension.
When I use a browser on either the local machine or one of the other
computers on the network to test the website, the ASP page fails to
load. The rest of the pages on the website load okay, but when I click
the link to load the ASP page I get an error "The attempt to load
'Accessing url: http:192.168.1.103/group-purchasing/join.asp' failed."
If I rename the page with an .hml extension, the page loads but the
form gets an error when I click submit.
Are there any settings I have to make to the website in the
Management Console in IIS to make the ASP page load?
TIA
