asp page saved as Word doc

I have an ASP page that writes HTML with the ContentType set to
application/msword. This renders the document fine in Word on the browser
but an image embedded in the document does not display. When I remove the
ContentType tag and render it as HTML everything comes in fine including the
image. Any thoughts?
