ASP: Retrieve "value list" in Access combo field via ASP?

Is it possible to read the "value list" of a FIELD inside an Access
database via ASP....

I am considering typing in a value list for a particular field to
circumenvent having to create a foriegn key (FK) but I am not sure how to
access the values inside an ASP script.

With an FK you can link to the foreign table but how do you list the
contents of a value list....is this an option worth considering or should I
revert to foreign keys.

I only have about 5 values which will hardly ever change.

ps: I got no joy from the ASP group so I thought maybe hardened Access
Developers might have the key to this question
