Aspect ratio of visio documents interted when inserting into word

I have this visio diagram which worked fine until this morning. I create the
diagram and insert it into my word document, up until this morning everything
would work fine.

This morning, after re-editing my visio document, when I insert the diagram
into the word document the width and height of the diagram are inverted
causing the diagram to be distorted.

I normally do the transfer betwen visio and word using EMZ files, I just
find them easier to work with but in the process of trying to resolve my
issue I tried different formats as well as copying and pasting directly
between applications... the only format that seems to work well is when I
copy the diagram as a visio object (which I try to stay away from after too
many document corruptions).

Been working like that for years now with no problems... any hints as to
what I should look for ?

To help I am using MS office 2007, v 12.0.6514..5000

might not be much help but I went into the Page Settings in my visio document
and refreshed the "portrait / landscape" once to portrait and then back to
its original setting of landscape... save the document again in an EMZ file
and it inserted properly into my word document.

I guess something got wrong with the visio document.

Anyhow, it is working now.
