I have a "ghost" assignment in my Master project in MS Project 2003.
Here's what happened. I saved my master project (let's call it A) to
a new file (B). I used B as sandbox for some experiments, then threw
it away. Now I have orphaned assigments in my original master project
for some tasks that were part of the Master Project. When I try to
delete, the popup says "The item or information you are accessing is
in an unopened sharer file that is linked to this resource pool file.
This operation can be performed only on the sharer file." The sharer
file is deleted. Am I stuck with this orphaned assignments forever?
