Assign an Alias to Resource in Resource Usage View

K

KCArmo

I use the Resource Usage View to show project allocation by Named Resource
during a weekly allocation meeting. I would like to use the same view to use
during another meeting, but I don't want to show the named resources - just
associated aliases such as Developer1, PM3, etc.

Can I show the list of tasks by Resource under an alias rather than the
Resource's true name without retyping all of the Resource Names?

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

Only the Name column displays the resource and task names. So, Insert a
custom field like Text1 into the Resource Sheet and copy all names into it.
Insert text2 and type the role based names you want. Now you can copy in one
go the name or role into the Name column as required.
