Assign exact hours to a task

Is it possible to assign exact hours to task, e.g.

Task 1:
Start 01.01.04 2 pm
End 01.01.04 6 pm

I only found that it is possible to assign days. Thank you very much.

Hi Paul

yes, you will need to change your date format to show time as well - tools /
options / view - date format

however, it is not (under normal circumstances) the best use of project to
enter start & finish dates & times ... basically that's project's role in
life - you tell it what needs to be done, what needs to be done before this
task can be done, how long you estimate it will take, who is to do it & when
they are available and project then sets the schedule.
