Assign myself to an existing task and task window problem

I have noticed that the Task View and project Detail Taskview(s) show the
"Task ID" column however when you want to "Assign myself to an existing
task" the column shows the "Unique Task ID" but I have not found if and
where it can be changed.

I could add the unique ID to the first two views but this will jus confuse
the already confused!

Any thoughts?
