Assign Parent to Task

Can someone suggest how, with vba in Project 2002, I can move a row to
position it for indenting as a child under a non-adjacent task? I
don't want to cut and paste the task since doing so would change the
task's UniqueID. Thanks for advice.

That's not possible... but
You can move a task with the mouse : drag and drop, so that the Unique ID will not change.
