Assign Users to a Project Plan

OK so i set up a new project and published it to Project Server. When i
login i can see everything, the project is in the Projects area.

I added a ProjectServer user (not windows user) and I want to add this
person to the project as a resource.

How am i supposed to do this?

I have tried everything -- but i assume I am supposed to use "Build Team
From Project Server" inside Project.

Well they never show up there. How do i specify the user to be an available
resource for projects? They are "active" and in Project Server.

Also, How do I give rights to view the specific project in "Projects"
without adding them to the Executive group. I want my team members to be
able to see the full project they are working on.

Thanks.

I think I can help with your first question.

You should have created the users as a resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool
first. If you had done so, the system would have automatically created a
user account for him in PWA. Now you must add the user to the Enterprise
Resource Pool, then double-click his name and make sure his Windows User
account exactly matches the one specified in his user account in PWA.

After you do the above the user should show up in the list of resources that you can apply to a schedule.

By default, users only see tasks that they have been assiged to. (what what i currently understand)
