I assigned a task to a colleague. He accepts the tasks when he receives it
in his inbox. I get a response saying that he did accept the task. The task
goes to his task list but also stays in his inbox. So he proceeds to delete
the task message from the inbox. A message pops up with options ... 1.
Decline & delete 2. mark completed & delete 3. delete.
Any of these options affects the actual task in the task list. It will
delete it including the msg in the inbox.
Why is the msg not leaving the inbox after the task has been accepted?
We are both using Outlook 2003 SP2 with IMAP (no exchange server) on XP. All
security patches applied
