It is not so much that you need to 'search' for a 'to do' due date; the due
date is somewhat essential for managing To Do lists! I need to produce a list
of actions due this week, next week, last week, overdue, etc. I need to split
these out by clients, projects as well as by just the date - ie, all the
simple Task List actions that Outlook and the myriad of other similar tools
will do.
It seems extraordinary that OneNote does not have this facility! In every
other respect, OneNote is ideal for me, helping to manage multiple concurrent
projects for several clients and prospective clients. However, without this
due date on the To Do actions, I won't be able to use it. In order to get
this functionality, I would have to copy the OneNote tasks to Outlook, set
the (client) Category on Outlook, and then view my to do lists in Outlook.
Might as well use Outlook!
Is there any other way to get the date into the OneNote to do lists?
