Assignment Availability - Server 2007

I am assigning multiple resources to a single task. When one resource is 100%
complete, I would like to assign that person to another task. I know that I
can technically do this, but I would like to see their actual assignment
availability (i.e. since they don't have to work on the task they finished
work on, I don't want to have this task affect their availability chart). In
order to make them available, I need to delete them from the task. However,
if you delete a resource from a task, it deletes all of the assignment
history (i.e. actual hours). And I can't close the task because there is
another resource working on it. Is there a way to do this? I am using fixed
duration, so deleting a resource does not effect the duration of the task.

I figured it out - you adjust remaining work to 0.
