Assignment Owner & Status Manager

When a template is created, the default Assignment Owner for each task is the
creator of the template. When a PM uses the template and publishes the plan,
the assignment owner will switch to the assigned individual resource.
However, if he has not decided on an individual resource for certain task and
leaves them as generic, the template creator will remain as the assignment
owner for that task.

One would think that the default assignment owner should be the PM who
publishes the plan (which should be equal to the Status Manager). How can
this problem be resolve?.

The hotfixes mentioned have already been applied and only fixed the Status
Manager problem. The Assignment Owner still defaults to the template creator.
