Assignment owner

Assignment owner
We have a subcontractor that is doing some of the project tasks.
I would like to assign someone with a PWA, to update those tasks. Moreover,
I do not want to set him as a resource.
When I change the resource name to a resource name that does not exist in
the resource pool, I could not edit the Assignment owner name.
How can I do it?
