Assignment Question

MS Project is forcing one of my week days to be only 7 hours long. I have 4 tasks at 2 hours each for three days. The first day it displays the work and duration for each assignment as 2h, 2h, 2h, and then 1h - can't figure out why? It should be 2h, 2h, 2h, and 2h - for an 8 hour day. It's throwing off the rest of the schedule by one hour, so the last day the resouce is working only one hour! There is only a single resource and he is at 100% and is not over allocated.

Look at the start and finish times in the Resources Working Calendar. Open
the [Resource Sheet] view and double click on the resource's name. Click
the [Working Time] tab, and look at the specific day in question. In that
specific day's settings, for that resource, are there 7 or 8 working hours?

You could also check the predecessors of the first task in the series of the
three. Does a predecessor of this task ocurr on the same day as the start
of task 1?
