Assignments don't publish through the PDs

Here's where I'm at:

1. Create new assignment through the PDS
(ProjectAssignmentsCreate method) setting autopublish to
true.

2. Check timesheet view in Project Server Web Access as
the resource that has had the assignment created for them.
(No task)

3. Run the ProjectViewTablesCreate method. (Repeat Step 2)

4. Run the ResourceViewTablesCreate method. (Repeat Step 2)

The only way the task appears within MS Project Server Web
Access is to have the project republished through MS
Project Pro regardless of auto publish value used when
creating the project/assignment through the PDS.

Is this correct? Known Issue?

Did you make any progress on this issue?
I'm trying to do the same thing and I get the same result.
