SodThrower
I just added a Diamond Radeon 9550 w/256 mB RAM to my AGP slot in my PC. The
graphics are tremendous and I am very happy with the card except for the new
undesirable feature:
In a Word 2002 document(or Outlook using Word as my editor), as I scroll up
and down the screen, the image does not refresh...that is the new sections of
the page which scroll up are all white typically. If I minimize the screen
and then maximize it (e.g. force a refresh) the page appears fine. I have
downloaded the latest ATI drivers and they did not help, gone through ATI
support and they said to wait for the next revision of Windows! I'm thinking
this is a simple issue of a setting in either the ATI driver or MS Word to
force refresh more often.
Has anyone out there ever experienced this? Am I alone with this disease?
Has anyone found a cure?
Oh, yah one more thing, if I revert back to my onboard video all is well
again.
I appreciate any feedback as I am currently alone on this island!
Thanks!
