ATT: GROUP ERROR MESSAGE 1624

Could someone please help me? I was trying to install, or should I say
reinstall MS Word200, but I keep getting the error message 1624 "Error
applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.
I don't have a clue as to what to do to fix this. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. I run Windows 98.
