attaching a file from yahoo mail!

When attaching one single file from microsoft word 2007 to send as an e-mail
in yahoo, it seems as though all the files that are in Word are also viewable
to the recipient. How can I attach only the file that I want to e-mail
without the other files in Word also being viewable to the recipient??
Help ASAP!!!!!

Well, obviously that shouldn't be happening, but Word has nothing to do with
it. Since I don't use Yahoo! Email I can't begin to offer any solution other
than to be certain you are selecting a file rather than the folder
containing the file(s). For additional help you'll need to contact Yahoo!
support for that service.

My guess is that the Yahoo mail service cannot deal with the new Office XML
file format, at least not yet. I would recommend creating a ZIP archive of
the Word document you are trying to send and then attaching that one to the
mail message. Alternatively, you could save the file in the old (pre-2007)
..doc file format.

FYI: This newsgroup is about Word for Macintosh; Office 2007 is not
available on the Macintosh.
