attaching pdfs to document

Can someone please educate me on how to attach a pdf into a document (report)? Thank you.

Attachments are made to email messages, not to documents. If you provide a
detailed description of what you want to do as well as the specific update
level of your Office installation perhaps someone can suggest options.
