Attaching Templates

When I have a global addin loaded and I try to attach a template to the document I receive the following message:

"Could not change document template."

Window XP SP 1 and Office XP

You use

ActiveDocument.AttachedTemplate

then you provide the fully qualified name of the template, or a
pre-loaded Template object from the Templates collection.

That is what I am doing and that is the message that I am receiving. If I use Word's fucntionality to accomplish the same task I receive the same message.

Is this some how tied in with Outlook 2003 new security functionalities?

I have Windows XP, Office XP and Outlook 2003.

I have Windows XP, Office XP and Outlook 2003.
I don't think it would be related to Outlook, but...

1. Close all applications

2. Open Word (no Outlook running)

3. Go to Tools/Templates and Addins and change the template to a different one. But do NOT
try to pick up one that's loaded as a global template.

Does that work?
