Attachment Filename is Truncated when using Rich Text

Hi all,

Our firm is using Outlook 2003 and recently changed mail formats from
HTML to Rich Text. Now when we insert attachments containing long
filenames into the body of an email message, the attachment filename is
truncated. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Any specific reason to change your message format to Rich Text? The naming
convention is a limitation of Rich Text.

Thanks for your reply. The decision to change to Rich Text mail format
was based on several factors...

We had several printing issues using HTML
Security issues
Formatting issues
etc...

So there is no registry hack to increase the filename to view or a
hotfix that anyone is aware of?

Thanks again.
