attachment icon printing if email is in html format

If you receive an HTML formatted email with an attachment and want to print
out the email, the icon for the attachment does not show up. How can I get
the attachment icon to print on the email without going thru a bunch of
unneccessary forwarding and editing of the message format? Very
frustrating. I am told you can do this in Office 2003 but not 2002. Even
more frustrating.
