Any help is greatly appreciated.
Is this a problem for everyone or just me? I'm surprised there are no
postings on this.
Is it fixed in future versions of Outlook?
If I move (drag-n-drop) an existing email attachment within an outlook 2003
task editing window, I can no longer open the attachment.
Example of problem:
--------------------------
1) In Outlook 2003, create a task and enter several blank lines.
2) Drag-n-drop an existing email into the task to create an attachment.
3) Drag-n-drop the attachment within the task editing window.
ERROR: I can no-longer open the attachment!
Debugging notes:
----------------------
The information displayed in the "Properties" of the attachment change as
well (from "Properties" to "Message Properties").
This problem does not occur in Calendar or Email items - only Task items.
Similar problems can occur when dragging attachments from one task to another.
Similar problems can occur with other attachment types (documents, etc).
Similar problems occur with cut-n-paste, copy-n-paste in tasks.
