A friend (an IT manager) sent me an email with an attached .mov file of
~30MB. After I received the message, the paperclip was not shown and no
attachment was included. If I open the message and look at the format menu,
it show HTML (but is grayed-out).
I run my own mail server (MailEnable) on Windows Server 2003 and accept
messages/attachments of any size. The mail server spooled the message &
attachment and it was not removed by anti-virus (AVG) or spam blocker (ASSP
[Anti Spam SMTP Proxy]).
Outlook is not set to block attachments over a certain size.
Outlook received the entire message (took a while) but...no attachment.
What happened to the attachment?
