attachment open error(direct open)

When I want to read attachment file from the Outlook, it
cannot open directly by clicking the icon from the email.
Now I can only saved the file in my hard disk and open the
file from the word application.


I can open file from the menubar > File > Open...

This is a good thing. Now, if only you could tell us how you accomplished
this...

People write in here daily about the work they lost by opening Word
documents directly from emails rather than through first saving to the hard
drive and then opening within Word.

Probably a security setting in Outlook.
