"Please enter the password to open his file. " I receive this message each time that I try to open an attachment in Word for Android so I tried my Hotmail password but no workee. What are they looking for?
The password will be specific to the document, not your email client. If you don't know the password then contact whoever sent you the document and ask them what it is (assuming they are a trusted source).

I sent the document to myself on another computer & didn't assign a password.
