Attachment problems

I seem to be unable to send attachments most of the time, and never to people outside of my office. I get an internal server error. Any suggestions?

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer:

try going to IE /tools/internet options/programs and make
sure under email it has the MS outlook not outlook express
or whatever you are using
