Which is the case here... I viewed the slipstick
articles before posting and none of it seemed to apply
(thanks anyhow for the link Brian.) The file types ARE
in Level1Remove but I thought that just allowed them to
be sent and received? My version info is OL2002
(10.6515.6626) SP3 if that helps. I just find it a big
pain to have to save the files to the desktop before
viewing just about every single thing.

From the description of the dialog, it sounds more like
the old Outlook 2000
SR1 dialog, not the newer blocked attachment dialog, but
without knowing the
version #, I can't be sure. It's also possible the
attachment types were
added to level1remove, since they aren't ones normally
blocked by the newer
security model.

BTW Brian, if it is the OL2000 dialog, then it hasn't
been asked about
hundreds of time in recent months and someone unfamiliar
with the dialog
would be hard pressed to find it using the communities
search even googling
would likely bring up the security model in Ol2002/2003
with information
that doesn't apply to this problem.

Couldn't find a similar post after searching so here
goes...
Didn't look too hard. There are hundreds.
Whenever I click on an attachment (.lnk, .htm, .html,
etc.) I get an attachment security warning prompting
me
to either "Save to Disk" or "Cancel" It's not even
the
normal radio button prompt with the check box to
remember
my choice.
