Hello Team,

I am developing in Outlook2003 on Exchange2003 with VBA and VBScript.

In Outlook a user can insert the text of a file into his/her message via
the "insert attachments" dialog by selecting the correct way to
"insert".

I know how to attach the file, but the option I am especially looking
for is that the content of the file is inserted into the message.

I want to do this in VBScript where I have the filename and a handle to
the mailitem object but next ..?
Is there anyone who would be so kind to help me on this matter please ?

You have both MailItem.Body and .HTMLBody to work with. You can use the
FileSystemObject library to work with the file text; see
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/vbscript.htm for links to reference and
tutorial.

The details depend a great deal on the format of the message. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/formatmsg.htm if you want to work with a
formatted message body.
