Someone sent me an attachment in Microsoft Office 2007 Word. How do I open it in Entourage

You can't open it in Entourage; Entourage only creates a local copy that
will then open the file in the appropriate application. Are you sure you
have Office 2008? If you did, you would be able to open Word 2007 files
without any problems. If you are still using Word 2004 or earlier, download
the free converter here <http://tinyurl.com/35yel7> to convert the file into
an RTF file that any word processor can read.

If you own Office 2008 but can't open a file from within Entourage, try
dragging the attachment to the desktop and then opening it from there.

Your question really doesn't make sense.

Have you installed the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack from Microsoft?
If you have, you can open anything Office 2007 can send you.

The compatibility pack is on www.microsoft.com/mac
