attachments arriving to recipient as win.dat which they can not o.

When I send pictures and attachments to people they often get them as win.dat
files. What is happening and why? Can I fix this.

I just spent time on the phone with Trend Scan and they indicated that there
does not seem to be a problem or virus invovled.

Ideas?
