Attachments in Events for 2008

Does anyone know if Entourage 2008 supports meeting notices with
attachments?

In 2004, if you accepted a meeting, the Calendar the meeting with the
message shows up but not the attachment, requiring a user to keep a copy of
the meeting notice in the Inbox.

Hi Kevin!

What should happen is if you receive a meeting invitation withOUT an
attachment then once you've accepted the notice will be copied to your
calendar and the original message deleted. If you receive a meeting
invitation WITH an attachment then once you've accepted the notice will
be copied to your calendar and the original message will stay in your
Inbox with the attachment.

The attachment will not be with the calendar event.

I'd like to see it remain with the calendar event myself. Please be sure
to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature in future versions
by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any Office application.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Bill,
I did submit a feature request. I get the feeling that MS needed to fix a
lot of core fundamental issues in this 2008 release and will build on that
in future updates - I hope everyone cordially submits feature requests
through MS's mechanism because that does help to determine priority in
development.
