Attachments in Outlook 2007

I am running Outlook 2007 as a stand alone program and not attached to a
Exchange Server. In the prior versions of Outlook I used a plug-in to
receive potentially dangerous attachments that are filtered by default. This
plug-in apparently does not work with Outlook 2007. Does anyone have a work
around for this issue?
